The Shape of the Curve (Most Important) — experienced tuners look at how early torque comes in, how smooth the curve is, whether there are spikes, and whether power delivery is controlled. A smooth, progressive curve means controlled, reliable performance. Sharp spikes mean increased mechanical stress.
